Project 10.80 Introduced to Strengthen Students Commitment in Mathematics Learning

Malaysia, June 13 – Well-known Mathematics educator and mentor, Heymraj Danabalan, popularly known as "Vaathi", has officially introduced Project 10.80, a new initiative aimed at helping SPM students improve their Mathematics performance while encouraging greater commitment towards learning.

Vaathi is widely recognised for his contributions to education across Malaysia. Since 2019, he has been actively helping students through various educational programmes, reaching thousands of learners nationwide with his practical and exam-focused teaching methods.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Vaathi launched Project 108, a free Mathematics learning programme for SPM students. The initiative quickly gained nationwide attention, with thousands of students joining in its first year. Over the past six years, the programme has continued to benefit hundreds of students annually, helping them improve their understanding, confidence, and examination results in Mathematics.

According to Vaathi, one important lesson learned from Project 108 was that opportunities provided completely free are sometimes not fully appreciated. While many students benefited greatly from the programme, some did not make full use of the resources and classes available to them.

To address this challenge, he has introduced Project 10.80, which includes a small commitment fee. The project is not designed to generate profit but to encourage students to take ownership of their learning journey, attend classes consistently, and value the opportunity given to them.

Vaathi believes that every student deserves access to quality Mathematics education regardless of their background or location. Through Project 10.80, he hopes to continue creating success stories among Malaysian students and inspire them to achieve better results in their SPM examinations. With the slogan "Small Commitment, Big Impact," the project marks a new chapter in his mission to transform lives through education.
