4 New Faces Appointed as Johor EXCO Members, 6 Retained

JOHOR BAHRU, July 18 — The Johor state government administration underwent a reshuffle with the appointment of four new members to the State Executive Council (EXCO), while six others retained their respective portfolios.

Menteri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi announced the matter during a press conference at his official residence in Saujana, here today.

The four newly appointed EXCO members are:

Kukup Assemblyman Md Israk Abdullah – State Agriculture, Agro-based Industry, and Rural Development Committee Chairman

Panti Assemblyman Dr Mohd Naqib Ghazali – State Education and Information Committee Chairman

Pulai Sebatang Assemblyman Hasrunizah Hassan – State Women, Family, and Community Development Committee Chairman

Perling Assemblyman P Pannir Selvam – State Unity, Heritage, and Culture Committee Chairman

The six EXCO members who retained their portfolios are:

Datuk Mohd Jafni Md Shukor – Housing and Local Government

Mohd Hairi Mad Shah – Youth and Sports, Entrepreneur Development, and Cooperatives

Mohd Fared Mohd Khalid – Islamic Religious Affairs

Mohamad Fazli Mohamad Salleh – Public Works, Transport, and Infrastructure

Lee Ting Han – Investment, Trade, Consumer Affairs, and Human Resources

Ling Tian Soon – Health and EnvironmentMeanwhile, the four dropped EXCO members are Khairin Nisa Ismail, Datuk Zahari Sarip, Aznan Tamin, and K Raven Kumar.
