5,000 Johoreans Benefit from PKJ 4.0 Housing Initiative
JOHOR BARU, June 26 – The Johor state government’s flagship housing programme, Perumahan Kasih Johor (PKJ) 4.0, has successfully benefited 5,000 homebuyers, reaffirming its commitment to strengthening homeownership among the people, particularly the younger generation.
Menteri Besar Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi said the initiative reflects the government’s dedication to addressing the concerns of Bangsa Johor, who often face challenges not only in purchasing homes but also in managing the financial transition into homeownership.
“Since taking office, housing has been one of our top priorities. We listened to the concerns of young people who questioned whether affordable homes were truly accessible. It is our responsibility to ensure their aspirations are met,” he said during the PKJ 4.0 presentation ceremony at the Austin International Convention Centre (AICC).
