CHENNAI: 27 JUNE Just a fortnight after the loss of his mentor K. Bharathiraja, Tamil cinema bid farewell to its “one-man studio” — the legendary K. Bhagyaraj. The multifaceted director, actor, screenwriter, composer, and novelist, aged 73, was rushed unconscious to Apollo Hospitals on Saturday, where doctors pronounced him dead.
